Carri Mundane, an English fashion designer who is also referred to as Cassette Playa, recently teamed up with the folks over at Nike to produce this new colorway of the Dunk High. As most of you may remember, Cassette Playa was involved in a collaboration with Nike earlier this year through which a Nike Blazer was produced. This time around, the sneaker yields a black upper with white contrast stitching, orion blue accents, sport red accents, lime green accents, and a logo on the tongue designed by Cassette Playa. The Cassette Playa x Nike Dunk High Premium is set to drop in October 2009 as a Lifestyle release.

I’m sure some of you remember the custom Channel Zero Nike Dunk which i posted a picture of not to long ago. Well, we finally got some more info for you on these sweet customs for all those who wanted to know. They were done by an artist who goes by the name Revive. Revive is a DJ, customizer and collector. He did these customs in August for a summit which he planned on attending that ended up getting canceled. A lot of people have asked me where the artist got his idea from for these fresh customs. As it goes, inspiration came from a Public Enemy song called ‘She Watched Channel Zero’. The song is pretty much about ignorance on television and how majority of it is all BS. The middle panel features the ‘poor television signal’ print and the lateral and frontal have a ‘bad reception’ theme to them, which Revive likes to call “The Salt And Pepper Show”.
